How MIR Affects Your Sign And Element
We are midway through the planet Mercury's 3 week retrograde transit and upcoming 2 week post-shadow period.. I'm sure everyone is feeling the effects of this MIR energy! From traffic and travel inconveniences to huge breakdowns in communication, MIR is definitely making itself known in our everyday day lives.
Have your emotions been heightened recently? You can credit this to MIR being in the house of Pisces until March 4th. Pisces is a water sign that is emotional, intuitive and very forgiving. The Pisces energy of this MIR will influence people in varying and interesting ways. Here's a brief breakdown of what each sign/element can expect during MIR's transit in Pisces:
Air Signs: Aquarius/Gemini/Libra
Air signs, Aquarius, Libra and Gemini will have a more challenging experience navigating MIR this time around because they are naturally "in their heads" as critical thinkers and are lead by their thoughts, more than emotions. The emotional Pisces energy is quite uncomfortable to Air signs, which could result in them mentally dissecting, analyzing and processing every little and not so little thing that happens during this Mercury Retrograde period. This could lead to increased stress and frustrations on even the most minute things. Pause and trust your instinct. Try not to overthink or second guess what your Higher Self is telling you.
Fire Signs: Aries/Leo/Sagittarius
Fire signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are naturally "GO GO GO" people! They are the life of the party and most of the time, the center of attention. Well… this MIR will put a cramp in their style! Mercury Retrograde is all about slowing down and taking your time… which is counter intuitive to the nature of Fire signs in general. As for the attention that fuels their Fire, the kind of attention they will receive will be infused with the sometimes confusing and oftentimes chaotic MIR energy. It won't be the welcomed attention they are used to, which could lead to misunderstandings and "firey" exchanges with others. Pause, breathe and respond instead of reacting.
Earth Signs: Taurus/Virgo/Capricorn
Earth signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn are typically grounded, practical and natural leaders. They tend to be cool and calm and like to be in control of things in their lives. So when Mercury Retrograde throws a few monkey wrenches into the mix, it will truly rattle the normally steady Earth signs. Earth signs also tend to be the most stubborn of all of the elements. That stubbornness goes against the "easy flowing" Pisces energy of this MIR. Try not to hold on to frustration. Instead, let go of what you cannot control.
Water Signs: Cancer/Pisces/Scorpio
The first 2 weeks of this Mercury Retrograde will be mild for water signs, Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio. This is because water signs are naturally emotional and intuitive. So like the Pisces fish, it will be much easier for water signs to "go with the flow" of this MIR energy. And also like the slippery fish, water signs will slide through most of MIR with minor..even humorous experiences. Let the chaos roll off of your back. Try to find the humor in the MIR experiences that materialize in your life.
