
As an empath who is highly in tune with energy, l oftentimes talk about "high vibration vs. low vibration" as well as "Higher Self (Spiritual self) vs. lower self (human self)." Sensing the subtle and not-so-subtle energies that surround me is how I navigate my world. It helps me to decipher what people, animals, things or situations are matched with the high vibrational energy I strive to radiate. Being solidly connected and in tune with my Higher Self and high vibration is how I manifest what I desire. I do this by raising my energetic vibration to the vibration of what it is that I want. My life coaching practice is centered on teaching clients how to do the same.
Everything Is Energy
The foundation of Quantum Physics is, "Everything is energy." This is also one of the Spiritual principles of Universal Consciousness. Everything that surrounds us vibrates. This is because the Universe is made up of vibrating particles that create the illusion of being solid. The website, A Learning Mind, explains this proven scientific fact simply and beautifully:

On the physical plane, we humans categorize the frequency of energy that we encounter as "positive and negative" or "good and bad". This labeling of energetic frequency helps to understand the world around us. But how do we determine what is "positive" vs. "negative" energy?
Emotions Are Our Energetic Antenna
Our emotions help us to decipher between high vibrational (positive) and low vibrational (negative) energy. Think about how you feel when you encounter low vibrational energy. What emotions do you experience? Irritation, disgust, frustration, sadness and anger are a few that come to mind. These are what I call "low vibrational emotions"; emotions that emit the frequency of negative energy. What emotions do you experience when you encounter high vibrational energy? Happiness, joy, silliness, gratefulness and love are examples of high vibrational emotions that result from encountering high vibrational energy.
When we consciously create our reality through manifestation, our emotions are our energetic "GPS system". Emotions let us know when we are in alignment or out of alignment with our intentions. The Law Of Attraction (LOA) says, "That which is like unto itself is drawn." Simply put, like attracts like. It means that the energetic frequency we focus on and maintain is matched by the Universe and amplified. Even if we don't "believe in" or reference LOA, humans are very aware of the phenomenon of "like attracts like." We often use the phrases, "what goes around comes around" and "you get what you put out" as examples of the effects of LOA. The Hindu and Buddhist concept of Karma is also rooted in the Universal Law Of Attraction. The Universe matches and amplifies the energy that is focused on and emited.
Example 1 - If you want more abundance, sure.. you can speak it into existence! But if you are wanting more abundance out of lack (poverty midset) and that lack causes you to feel frustrated or anxious, the energy of those low vibrational emotions is what the Universe will match. This will lead to a delay of that abundance materializing in your life. The simple fix to this is to focus on what you HAVE with gratefulness and appreciation instead of what you DON'T have. The energy of gratefulness and appreciation emits high vibration emotions. Simple to do..but not easy.
Example 2 - If you want a meaningful love connection in your life, you've already set intention by just wanting it! Speaking it out loud amplifies the energy of your intention. Writing it down amplifies it even more so. But if you are wanting a love connection out of loneliness or because you feel "incomplete" without companionship, that feeling of loneliness will just lead to low vibratonal emotions like sadness which, again, will delay that meaningful love connection. The fix to this is to focus on truly loving yourself fully and completely with the emotion of excitement and anticipation that you WILL have that meaningful love connection and not be concerned about when it will happen.
This is why being aware of our emotions is critical to consciously creating. The key to manifesting what we want vs. what we don't want is vibrating at a higher frequency. The higher our vibration, the better we feel emotionally, the faster we match and connect with our manifestations and see them materialized in our lives.
Here are 5 ways to raise your vibration instantly:
1. Be Mindful Of Your Thoughts And Emotions.
There's a saying in many Spiritual circles and religions: "Speak it into existence." Spoken words are indeed a powerful manifestation tool. Whatever you speak CAN become your reality but what is even more powerful than spoken words are your emotions and thoughts behind them. This is why it is important to be mindful of your thoughts. Every thought that comes into your head has an impact on creating your reality. The emotions you feel as a result of those thoughts lets you know if you're in alignment with the high vibrational frequency of what it is you want in your life. Your emotions are the "secret sauce" to consciously creating your reality!

To effectively raise your vibrations, you have to be mindful of your thoughts. It’s easy to succumb to negative thoughts when you’re not mindful. When negative energy takes over, it causes a low vibration. You can pull yourself out of it by practicing being more mindful of your thoughts. When you’re mindful, you consciously shift your negative thoughts to positive ones. As your thoughts become more positive, your reality will become more positive as well. How quickly or how long this takes is completely up to you.

2. Meditate
Meditation sounds intimidating to some but it doesn't have to be. You only need a few minutes daily to simply be still and silent. Meditation helps to raise your vibration by connecting you to your intuition and Higher Self. It's perfectly ok to not get it right the first time. Meditation takes regular and consistent practice.
There is a misconception that the goal of meditation is to clear your mind of all thoughts. That is simply impossible to do. The goal of meditation is mindfulness which leads to raising your vibration. Simply sitting in silence and observing your thoughts for as little as 5 minutes daily is a great start to meditating for a beginner. 3. Be Mindful Of Your Home Environment
Your home is the first thing that should be in proper order because this is where you spend most of your time. Your home is your respite and your sanctuary and has a huge influence on your vibration. Make sure that you set up a good home environment. Keep it peaceful, neat, and adorn it with things that you love and inspires you.

If you often watch violent dramas, it creates a stream of negativity into your vibration and this is something that we are trying to avoid. Be mindful of what you watch.

5. Be Mindful Of What You Listen To
Just like what we watch, what we listen to also has an impact on our vibration. For example, if you want to raise your vibration and you want to manifest love in your life, you should listen to songs about love. If you want more money, listen to positive affirmations about abundance. Simple, right? It really is THAT simple.
